Horseback Riding with Aperitif/Wine Tasting
Explore the Estate on horseback and taste Ripalte wines - from 120 euro
Take part in a horseback tour, guided by the instructor, along the ancient mule tracks of our 450-hectare property along the east coast of the island of Elba.
Before riding the horse, there will be a brief illustration of the techniques for a safe and risk-free ride. We will then proceed in line to visit some places of historical and natural interest on the estate, which is included in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. We will advance along the vineyard rows of our plots, taking in the atmosphere that surrounds the Tenuta delle Ripalte, with its ancient stories and legends.
After the tour through the vineyards, we will head towards the Cantina delle Ripalte, admiring its exterior architectural lines, which make it famous in Tuscany as one of the 14 "Tuscan Wine Architecture".
Here, we will participate in an aperitif provided by the Winery: after a brief overview of the winery and its production, we will take our reserved seat on the panoramic terrace, with its breathtaking view of the sea and the vineyards.
A rich aperitif will be served with local products from the Island of Elba and Tuscany: typical cheeses of varying maturation and processing, artisan cured meats from local wild-breeding, typical recipes and extra virgin olive oil from the Island of Elba. All food products are carefully selected from small local producers, artisans of taste, and are illustrated during the aperitif.
The gastronomy will be complemented by 3 glasses of our wines, to be chosen from the entire range of rosé, sparkling, white and red wines.

Useful information:
- To participate you must be between 14 and 60 years of age
Children under the age of 18
- are admitted to the tour if they are between 14 and 18 years of age
- are admitted to the aperitif for relaxation, but may not drink alcohol. A snack in lieu of wine tasting will be provided for them - Not accessible to the disabled, only recommended for those in good health (no heart or other physical problems)
- The horseback riding activity lasts a total of 1h30m: 30m of lessons and 1h of paced horseback riding; the aperitif lasts approximately 1h30m. The total duration is 3 hours
- No training is required: the experience is for all levels
- The excursion requires good weather: should it be cancelled due to bad weather, a new date or a full refund will be offered
- Clothing required: trainers, long trousers
